Designed to boost safety of ladders
June 1st 2006 Ladders can be dangerous pieces of apparatus. The higher up the ladder the user goes, the more unstable it becomes. Ideally, the head of the ladder should be as secure as the base.
Laddermaster from SIA Industries is a safety device that gives a ladder a rigid fixing point to a plastic gutter.
It has undergone stringent testing by Manchester Metropolitan University.
