Safety features for mobile step range
February 1st 2007

The Klime-Eze range of mobile safety steps and bespoke ladder systems, available from ladderstore.com, is said to represent an affordable and safe solution to working at height for those in warehouse and storage facilities.

Steps are immobilised by a central fail-safe retractor mechanism which, when operated, performs the dual function of acting as a braking system and forming a 'no access' barrier across the steps, protecting the safety and welfare of the operative.

The range includes safety features such as all-round pulpit rails and punched metal or anti-slip PVC treads.

All models are made from steel and fully welded.

For heavy use applications, the Industrial, with a 500mm tread width and Extra-wide with 700mm tread are suitable for maintenance crews or large item order picking.

Knock-Down models are suitable for areas of restricted access.

They have a 500mm tread width and can be assembled on site.
