Steps taken to create ladder news website
June 1st 2008

In addition to new ladder safety products and a new safety training programme, Ladderstore.com has an ongoing partnership with the HSE. The company has also launched an all-news website – Laddernews.com – aimed at those working in/interested in safe working at height.

Gail Hounslea, MD, comments "It was our involvement with the current HSE training initiative Shattered Lives that proved the real catalyst for this idea. Rightfully, there is a lot of concern around working at height, yet solutions for safe practice can be cheap, simple and, above all, effective. It is a powerful message that we wanted to get across; creating a website for this kind of helpful information seemed a logical next step." Items currently available on-line include an interview with Tony Almond, communications manager for the Shattered Lives campaign. There is also the chance to win a free training session on ladder safety.
