Three ladder modes from one device
December 1st 2006

After the implementation of the Work at Height Regulations, Youngmans says it witnessed a certain level of confusion from within the access industry, with some even believing that the use of ladders had been outlawed.

To address this, the company worked closely with the British Ladder Manufacturers Association and the HSE, looking at ways in which ladders can be made safer and more user-friendly.

The Combi 100 was launched last year and has proved popular in low to medium level access requirements. Available in three sizes – 2, 2.5 and 3m (closed height) – it can be altered easily to provide three safe models of access.

It is certified to DIN EN 131, the European Standard for light duty trade ladders, and has a stabiliser bar and restraining straps for added safety.

The Combi 100 is light and easy to transport and can be quickly and easily configured to any of the three modes.
