Safety boost for the hire industry
April 1st 2008

A-Plant will be showcasing a series of new initiatives and products aimed at improving health and safety within the hire industry.

Razordeck, a self-erecting tower will be on show.

Lightweight yet robust, the low-level work platform erects to three working heights – 0.55, 1 and 2m, ensuring that the unit is always at the right height for the job.

The compact structure is effortless for one person to operate, is of a special folding design and, as a one-piece unit with no detachable parts, the Razordeck is converted from 'flat-packed' to ready-to-use in seconds.

The company will also introduce EZiDIG, an excavator-mounted cable avoidance tool and will be showing its edge protection system.

Its new Setting the Safety Standard campaign will be featured, as will a new version of the company's Site Safety Pack.
