Safety first with latest quick hitch

Engineering, has introduced
Auto-Loc, a fully automatic
quick hitch.
The HSE has issued a
series of safety alerts in
connection with quick
hitches and the Hill Auto-
Loc has been designed with
operator safety as the
overriding priority. It
exceeds all existing UK and
international safety
standards and legislation.
Its design allows the
operator to visually confirm
from within the cab that the
bucket or other attachment
is locked in position, a
potentially life-saving feature.
The device goes beyond
current British Standards by
ensuring that attachments
can only be released when
the excavator boom is in a
safe working position.
As the auto-Loc is
automatic, there is no need
for the operator to leave the
cab to remove or insert a
safety pin when changing
from one attachment to
another. This eliminates the
risk of a safety pin being
inserted incorrectly or not
