Edge protection system

RMD Kwikform says that Ultraguard, its lightweight, galvanised steel, temporary roof edge protection system, is being adopted by an increasing number of contractors committed to improving safety.

The z-profiled interlocking barrier system complies with the EU temporary edge protection guidelines BS EN13374, class A. The welded mesh barriers are lifted into position and restrained by aluminium safety posts secured in slab pockets by the use of a built-in locking mechanism.

The system is 100% reusable, has the minimum number of components, no loose fittings and is designed for easy handling, quick erection and dismantling. It is said to be compatible with all shoring and scaffolding systems.
