Fragile roof mats
May 1st 2009 Preventing falls through fragile roofs
during maintenance, new safety

Components are expanded over the
roof adjacent to the work area, for
example a valley gutter that is being
cleared or repaired.
In the event of a trip leading to a
fall onto the roof sheets, the mats –
which span across the steel purlins
below – stop a fall through the
fragile roof, helping to prevent
serious injuries. Mats can be hired to
suit the work programme.
