LITTLE AND LARGE AT COVENTRY ARENA
August 1st 2005

AFI recently called on some of the biggest and smallest scissor lifts in its fleet to meet the needs of a contractor working on the construction of the new £113m Coventry Arena complex.

Taylor Hart used a 22.5m Liftlux 205-25 scissor lift to access some of the highest areas within the arena, while at the other end of the scale it turned to a 7.8m Skyjack 3219 narrow width scissor to work in areas with restricted space.

Will Hart of Taylor Hart says “Large scissors can be difficult to obtain, but it’s all credit to AFI that it could supply the Liftlux quickly and just when we wanted it.” For areas where space was tight, the Skyjack really came into its own.
