The safety division of OCS Technical has been awarded a contract to test fall arrest systems, eyebolts and guard railings for AstraZe
August 1st 2005

Engineers and surveyors from OCS Technical will test current systems, make suggestions for improvements and provide advice on the most appropriate safety systems to use. Engineers will maintain and test each eyebolt over the coming years in compliance with British Standard 7883:1997.

The OCS eyebolts are used with full body safety harnesses and lanyards up to 2m long that incorporate energy absorbing devices.

Chris Cracknell, chief executive of OCS said: “With our experience we can provide AstraZeneca with peace of mind by thoroughly testing their safety access systems once a year. In this way we can help our client comply with all health and safety legislation”.
