Column protector proves popular
October 1st 2006 The Addgards Column Protector has proved popular with warehouse managers and distributors alike. The company says that up until now the cost of protecting a column was on average £300 to £500, not to mention the replacement costs in the event of a collision. The new Column Protectors start at £190.00, and it only costs £100 to replace a side in the event of damage. They are also tough, highly visible, easily installed (no tools or fixings required), cost effective and maintenance free. On collision the Addgard Column Protector releases air to cushion the impact between forklift and column so the protector can withstand heavy and frequent blows. It will fit column sizes from 6 to 12" (15to 30cm). It will fit rectangular columns with Addgards adaptable straps and can also be adapted to fit columns against walls.
