Helps with unloading August 1st 2007 An increase in overseas goods arriving 'loose loaded' in high cubed 12m sea containers is proving a problem for many import companies with regards to the manual unloading operation. Goods are often stacked and packed to the ceiling, making it difficult for warehouse staff to reach. Newland Engineering's MTC135 Manrider multitelescopic belt conveyor is fitted with a one-man or two-man carrying platform. The operator can reach goods at the highest level inside the container. Positioned on the platform, he can extend, raise and lower telescopic booms into the container by means of the push button console. Manrider has a telescopic extension of 13.5m and has a platform lift up mechanism. More articles from Newland Engineering Co Ltd: |
