Packline Add New Geared Rotation Reel Handling Attachment to Range
February 1st 2007

After the recent launch of their Compac Mk 5 manoeuvrable lifting machine, Packline have already added to their existing comprehensive range of lifting attachments with the new geared rotation vertical spindle attachment

Designed to lift and rotate reels of packaging film by gripping the reels core the new gear box driven vertical spindle attachment can cater for loads of up to 300kg

The attachment provides a simply and controlled method of lifting and rotating reels of packaging material from pallet or storage to processing machinery. The geared rotation enables the heaviest of loads to be easily rotated with the minimum of effort required.

Used in conjunction with the recently launched Mk5 Compac Stainless Steel Lifting Machine the new attachment provides the ideal solution for reel handling and transportation within confined spaces in both clean room and production environments.

Other attachments already available include Single and double spindle; Platform; Rotating Tray; Cradle; Clamp and Die-block. With each type possessing a number of variations, Packline now offer more than 50 standard attachments for a huge range of lifting requirements.

Applications include lifting and positioning reels, drums, hoppers, tyres, engine blocks, components, products, and any number of manufacturing, assembling or fabricating needs. Packline can even supply heavy duty machines for the larger lifting job.

In line with the Compac Mk5 itself, the attachments are manufactured predominately in anodised aluminium and stainless steel which makes them particularly popular with the Medical, Diary, Chemical, Food, Brewing and Pharmaceutical Industries

Chris Baker Managing Director of Packline said “Our clients come from a very broad range of industries and each has their own lifting challenges. Quite simply, as we solve each challenge, we consider adding it to our range of standard attachment for the benefit of future customers. This has seen our range grow over the last few years to over 50 different formats”.

“Come and see the new Compac and attachments for yourself by visiting us in Hall 5 on stand 5425 at the Total Processing & Packaging Exhibition being held on the 15-18th of May 2007 at the NEC Birmingham”
