ERGONOMIC DESIGN FOR FORKLIFT SEAT
August 1st 2004

Available from Grammer Seating Systems, the Primo range is a new family of seats for forklift trucks and compact construction machines.

The seat is believed to be the first of its kind with low frequency air suspension. Also available with mechanical suspension, it quickly and automatically adjusts to the users weight and is said to have the lowest seat index point of the seats will full suspension, at 200mm.

Other features include adjustment of the seatback angle, folding backrest and an integrated seatbelt. Wide, ergonomic cushions and armrests with adjustable height and angle optimally support the body, as does the backrest that can be set to any angle between -5 and 30.

The asymmetrical backrest is tapered on the right side to make it easier for the user to turn around in the seat and there is a built-in lumbar support.
