Brigade Electronics believes that by fitting simple, effective products to forklift trucks safety can be improved dramatically.

The company offers a range of alarms, including its broadband sound bbs-tek alarms, rear detection systems, mirrors and compact CCTV cameras and monitors to suit all applications and budgets.

Broadband (or multifrequency) sound gives the hearer accurate signals.

Additionally, broadband sound is gentle on the operator's ears as well as those of site workers. The company says a further benefit is that broadband sound is equally effective at lower decibel ratings.

Brigade's Backscan rear detection systems and reversing sensor, and its Bubble mirrors are said to help users manoeuvre more safely. The half or full moon Bubble mirrors are designed to provide a wide view of the area behind the forklift.

Also available are compact CCTV systems with small monitors and compact cameras that fit even the smallest of plant and vehicles. An example is the BE-835M TFT LCD. When paired with a compact camera it provides drivers with clear high resolution pictures of all areas around a forklift.
