Good visibility
April 1st 2007

Brigade Electronics used this year's IMHX to unveil new products that are designed to deliver clear, all-round visibility, covering front, rear and side views.

Fitting effective products to forklifts in the handling and storage environment can improve safety dramatically, according to Brigade.

The company provides a range of alarms, including broadband sound bbs-tek alarms, rear detection systems, mirrors and CCTV cameras and monitors.

Broadband (or multifrequency) gives the hearer accurate signals. The shh, shh, shh sound is gentle on the operator's ears as well as those of site workers. The sound is equally effective at lower decibel ratings.

Brigade's Backscan rear detection systems and parking sensor, and its DOBLI mirrors are designed to help users manoeuvre more safely in the materials handling environment.

CCTV systems are available with small monitors and compact cameras that will fit on even the smallest of vehicles. The BE-835M TFT LCD colour monitor, for example, has 89mm screen and, when paired with a compact camera, provides the driver with clear pictures of areas around a forklift, van or truck.
