Guide gets an update
August 1st 2007

Mentor FLT Training has published a revised edition of its pocket guide to Forklift Safety.

Designed to update qualified forklift truck operators and their managers, the 144-page booklet aims to reinforce basic training and provide a handy reminder of key points.

The guide includes new sections on operating pivot steer trucks, and procedures for stacking and de-stacking, alongside information on truck maintenance, safe driving, loading and unloading, capacity, stability and other limits for different types of sit-on and pedestrian-operated trucks.

Additionally, it includes an easy-to-understand summary of the current law covering forklift operations.
