Mobile yardlift February 1st 2005 A Truckloada mobile yardlift from ThorWorld Industries has proved a cost-effective alternative to building a loading bay at major plant wholesaler, Sundridge Plants, improving site safety and speeding loading.
It is used to load the company’s trucks as well as third party articulated vehicles that help with deliveries in peak periods.
Five tall roll cages full of plants are put on to the Truckloada using a bridging plate and raised to the height required. A bridging plate on the other side allows goods to be wheeled directly into the vehicle.
When lowered, the standard lifting bed is just 46mm high, ensuring ease of loading. Simple controls automatically raise or lower the platform that is held in place with wind-down locks during use. Loading used to require two or three people; it is now a oneman job.
Fully mobile, the Model 9679 Truckloada has a 2000kg capacity and has a raised cross beam to allow the 2700mm high roll cages to be handled when full of flowers. More articles from Thorworld Industries: |
