Stop speeding
October 1st 2006

The ShockSwitch Impact Manager SL (Speed Limited) system from Lamerholm Electronics is designed to stop forklift drivers speeding by limiting truck travel speed, without affecting the hydraulic lifting power.

The company says the device will result in better site safety, less damage and lower fuel expenditure.

It can be set for either the limiter activation time or truck speed, which can be as low as 5mph. Dual speeds can be set and activated automatically or via a push button.
