Enhanced performance, safety and ergonomics

incorporated into its Forte
UNS Tergo reach truck will
provide the high
performance allied to safety,
reliability and ease of
operation, that are essential
in maintaining the sustained
productivity and minimal
truck down-time demanded
by today's busy distribution
warehouse.
With lift capacities of
1400, 1600 and 2000kg, and
standard lift heights to
10.8m, the Forte's driving
speed has been increased by
16% to a maximum of
14km/h. Its stacking
operations are also quicker;
with new lift/lower motors,
lift speed has been increased
by 20% to 0.7m/s, and the
mast reach speed has risen
to 0.2m/s. Enhanced mast
damping when lifting and
lowering allows safer, jerk
free pallet handling, and the
new motors are said to be
much quieter.
The ergonomic design
includes such features as a
tilting seat, floating armrest
and palm of the hand mini
steering wheel, while Atlet's
Stability Support System -
S3 - governs speed and
