Ergonomic design and safety features
April 1st 2006

With an LPG engine, the new FGC N series of 2 and 3t counterbalance forklifts from Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks combines performance and economy with ergonomics and safety.

Clear, all-round vision is made possible through the high visibility mast, fork carriage and head guard.

Other safety features include a seat switch that prevents all movement of the forks and the truck if the driver is not securely seated, while warning indicators encourage proper use of the seatbelt and parking brake.

An engine management system and regulated catalytic converter result in high output with low emissions and low fuel consumption. Noise levels too have been lowered.

Benefits from the use of cushioned tyres are said to include excellent traction on smooth surfaces, low rolling resistance, stability and reduced energy consumption.
