Faster, safer and more ergonomic
February 1st 2008 The latest version of Atlet's
award-winning UNS Tergo
reach truck has enhanced
performance, safety and
ergonomics. It is stronger
and quieter and its on-board
computer system has been
further developed to aid
diagnostics, allow a high
degree of drivercustomisation
and provide a
host of operational data.
The Forte UNS Tergo is
available with lift capacities
of 1400, 1600 and 2000kg
and standard lift heights to
10.8m. Driving speed has
been increased to a
maximum of 14km/h.
Stacking too is faster; with
new lift/lower motors, lift
speed has been increased to
0.7m/s and mast reach
speed goes up to 0.2m/s.
The free-floating armrest
and mini steering wheel
reduce strain on the
shoulders and arms, while
the automatically tilting
seat gives the driver a clear
upward view.
The truck's Stability
Support System, S3, governs
speed and acceleration, and
the interface between speed
