Electric hoists

A new generation of electric chain hoists is available from R. Stahl Fordertechnik.

The company is offering the new ST hoists in a finely graduated programme for safe working loads to 5000kg.

Features include low maintenance requirements and long theoretical service life in accordance with FEM classification.

For the main market requirement (to 3.2t), hoists are available for 1600 full load operating hours. A further benefit is the units low wearing slipping clutch. Maximum availability and safety over a long period of time are said to be standard features.

The company claims to offer the ideal solution where every mm of usable hook height counts. In comparison with its predecessor, headroom has been cut by up to 35%.
