ATEX-compliant
December 1st 2007

According to Government statistics, 37% of industry fires take place in bakeries, yet three and a half years after the ATEX Directive was imposed, Braby says the same figures show many manufacturers have been slow to comply.

The company comments that complying with ATEX can be costly, with machinery modifications more difficult to achieve in some older plants.

To help manufacturers, Braby has produced Vacatex, a standard, lowcost, fully ATEX-compliant bulk handling package for the food industry.
