General overhaul
March 1st 2010

As lifting equipment and associated components age, efficiency and reliability can be compromised, resulting in higher operating costs and safety implications. To address these issues, Demag Cranes & Components recommends that its lifting equipment undergoes a general overhaul at least every ten years.

Demag general overhaul programmes have been designed to restore equipment to optimum performance and safety levels, providing a cost effective alternative to investment in new materials handling technologies.

Such regimes, backed by ongoing certification, also help operators meet obligations under workplace health and safety legislation.
