HELPING TO REDUCE MANUAL HANDLING
April 1st 2005

AL-Vac offers a wide range of vacuum lifting equipment to reduce the need for manual handling.

One of its most popular products is the AL-Vac Mini Crane and Handyman combination. Typically, the Mini crane is installed at the rear of a truck within a square socket, although the socket can be placed anywhere on a truck body.

The crane can be removed simply by lifting it from the socket and disconnecting the electrics.

The Handyman lifter, with a capacity of 150kg, may be specified with a number of easily interchangeable vacuum heads.

These include a top lifting head for kerbstones and a round vacuum for slabs.

Both the Mini Crane and Handyman connect into the host vehicle’s electrical supply. The Handyman also has an independent battery option. Up and down movements and suction are controlled by switchgear on the handlebars to ensure optimum performance.
