LEEA approval
June 1st 2010 Lift Turn Move has qualified for
full membership of the Lifting
Equipment Engineers Association
(LEEA). LEEA is a technical
association involved in the design,
manufacture, hire, repair,
refurbishment, test, examination
and use of lifting equipment.
Applicants are subject to technical
audits before full membership is
granted and then to a continuing
assessment programme.
The approval process involved full
technical audits carried out by
LEEA Officers, which led to some
minor changes to processes to
ensure best practice. Certified LEEA
training for all staff was also carried
out. All workshop staff are now
fully certified by an independent
body to carry out hoist and lifting
equipment assembly, inspection
