Steinhoff UK recently received the first of two new hydraulic mobile lifting systems to assist in goods handling at its warehouse in Tewkesbury.

The Romadek HH1000XL, the latest in Transdek UKs range of mobile loading systems, is designed to carry three trolleys (each with a full suite set) between the split levels of Steinhoffs warehouse.

Large, multi-directional wheels make the Romadek fully mobile, and separate hydraulic rams lift the wheels clear of the ground before the platform can become operational. This lowers the system on its base, creating a stable unit and eliminating difficulties in wheel-locking.

The device also features automatic retaining plates and bridging plate, a low profile deck for easy access and a dual power supply.
