Pallet turning
October 1st 2006

B&B Attachments has teamed up with Kaup GmbH to introduce a pallet turning table that is designed to reduce the amount of manual labour needed to turn pallets around.

Selling goods from pallets causes difficulties when products at the front of the pallet have been removed, leaving those at the back hard to reach.

With the Kaup pallet turning table, the halfempty pallet is picked up and removed from the shelf by a forklift and placed on the turning table.

After the pallet has been positioned and the forks extracted, the table automatically turns 180°, making it easier for staff/customers to pick the product.

The device is capable of turning pallets of up to 1000kg in just 3 to 4sec and is powered by a 24V battery.

Units are available to suit pallet lengths of 1200mm, with widths of 800, 1000 and 1200mm. They can be supplied with remote control for the truck operator to use instead of the automatic system.
