Ramping up productivity
September 1st 2009 Forklift manufacturer, Jungheinrich,
has increased productivity with the
installation of a TwinRam vehicle lift
from Stertil Koni.
The company's National
Engineering Centre at Risley in
Warrington had previously used a
static, floor-mounted ramp that was
cumbersome and difficult to work
with. After reports that a Stertil Koni
lift was increasing productivity at
Jungheinrich's refurbishment centre in
Dresden, the company's UK arm also
decided to purchase a similar unit.
Stertil Koni's commercial vehicle
lifts are from German manufacturer,
JA Becker (exclusive to Stertil in the
UK). The TwinRam lift is now in its
second generation, with greater
technical precision and particular
