CUSTOM-DESIGNED FOR AEROSOL STORAGE
October 1st 2004 Troax UK has supplied a range of custom-designed wire mesh racking enclosures to cosmetics manufacturer Constance Carroll, to solve a number of health and safety issues at the company’s warehouse and distribution centre in Skelmersdale.
The enclosures are specifically designed to store aerosol-type products and were constructed using all welded wire mesh panels from Troax’s Broadsword industrial partitioning range. They are installed along rows of pallet racking and as freestanding units.
Specified as a requirement by the company’s insurance company, the enclosures’ tight mesh size allows aerosols and other flammable products to be stored safely as it prevents the escape of shards in the event of an explosion, thus containing any resulting fire.
