Handles with care
July 1st 2009 Packline has developed a lifting device
for a leading manufacturer of high
shear mixer heads so the company
can offer its customers a safe and
reliable means to handle its products.
Adopting the technology used in its
recently launched Compac Mk5 range
Packline designed a purpose lifting
machine and attachment to lift and
lower the mixer head assemblies in
and out of mixing vessels.
Because the majority of applications
would be in clean room environments
the mixer head lifter was produced in
stainless steel and to facilitate cleaning
built to an IP65 rating.
Features of the lifter include:
Electrical overload trip, Emergency
stop button, and Lift & Lower travel
