Height adjustable docking station
February 1st 2006 A free-standing weatherproof docking station that can be adjusted in less than a minute to suit a wide variety of vehicle heights is the latest introduction from Transdek UK.
The equipment consists of a heavy-duty steel frame supporting a deck with a pair of hydraulic arms at one end.
These can be raised and lowered to suit vehicles with floor heights from 700 to 1500mm above the ground.
A tongue extends over tail lifts and provides a safe surface for moving goods in and out.
The deck is manufactured from heavy duty chequer plate with an antislip coating and typically provides a 3m by 3m working area.
The station has a weatherproof canopy that can be insulated for customers who handle frozen food.
Lighting is included.
