Tips at height
April 1st 2008

When First Fruit Warehouse of East London wanted a means of safely handling office furniture and scrap metal waste, it approached Contact Attachments for a solution.

Christopher Butt, warehouse operations manager, explains "The job we carry out naturally generates a certain amount of wood and metal waste.

We used to have to manually handle this waste until we purchased a Contact tipping skip.

"Now the waste can be collected easily and safely tipped at height into our large container without risk of injury to any of our staff. We are more than happy with Contact's skips and service and will be purchasing more in the near future." The company offers a range of tipping skips that are designed to fit onto the front of any forklift truck.

Strategically placed, Contact's skips allow working areas to be kept clear and allow safe and speedy removal of scrap or rubbish to the appropriate skip or waste compactor.

Different coloured skips are available, so waste can be sorted and segregated as required.
