Tug unit takes the strain off staff

Wavin, a supplier of plastic pipe systems and solutions, has recently alleviated health and safety concerns among its workforce by introducing a MasterTug from MasterMover International at its Chippenham site.

The unit is used to manoeuvre finished bundles of pipe product from the end of extrusion lines during the manufacturing process.

Steve Hawkins, production engineer, comments "The MasterMover machine is a neat, wellmade, compact unit and strong enough for our demands.

"This has taken the manual strain off our operators."
