Competence mark
August 1st 2005

Stertil UK has achieved the SafeContractor health and safety award.

SafeContractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health and safety competency of contractors in various fields.

Among the information the company needed to supply in support of its application was evidence of its safe working practices; details of risk assessments and emergency procedures; health and safety training arrangements; details of equipment testing and on implementation of policy and control of subcontractors.

Stertil’s health and safety standards were then independently audited and acknowledged to have achieved the high standard required by SafeContractor.

For a contractor, SafeContractor accreditation makes it simple to demonstrate health and safety competency to clients and can also mean reductions in insurance premiums.
