Ergonomic leveller
October 1st 2004

Stertil Stokvis now offers an ergonomic dock leveller.

Featuring a patented lip design and energyabsorbing rear hinge, the HW leveller provides fast, smooth and safe movement of goods into and out of a wide range of vehicles.

Its reduces and varies the crown angle between lip and platform, created by the special parallelogram hinge construction. This is said to result in a lower impact on materials handling equipment and a consequent reduction of about 50% in maintenance costs.

Impact on the human body is also said to be minimised, thereby reducing the risk of injury.

Construction of the rear hinge means it is sited as close as possible to the back of the leveller, which reduces the hinge opening to small dimensions, no matter what the platform position.
