GUIDE FOR PIVOT STEER TRUCK USERS
August 1st 2004

BITA has published a new operator training guidebook for pivot steer (articulated chassis) lift trucks.

The book is the latest addition to its range of publications that provide guidance and assistance to trainers, forklift truck operators and users.

One of BITAs key roles in the industry is the promotion of best practice in the workplace and, particularly, the many health and safety issues concerned with materials handling.

To this end, it publishes a series of guide books that provide essential safety advice.

BITA says that previously there were no official documents addressing the special training and operational requirements for pivot steer lift trucks. The new booklet has a host of simple guidelines and advice.
