Miller blends new with old
October 1st 2008

The supply of industrial doors by sara loading bay specialists to the milling firm of W & H Marriage & Sons, Chelmsford, represents a classic scenario of new technology in a traditional working environment.

W & H Marriage & Sons, founded in 1824, focuses on high grade flour and animal feeds. The manufacturing facilities have had to evolve and improve to achieve the optimum working and safe environment, while staying in the company's historical site by the river.

The sara specification comprises three Sprint 355 high speed doors and a Roller Shutter. The Sprint can be adjusted for its location depending on the flow of fork lift trucks, while the Roller Shutter is suitable as a stable closure for the wheat silo. Fitted to various packing plants, the 355 series doors allow fast, safe traffic of pallets of goods.
