No noise alarms
August 1st 2004

Marshalls, manufacturer of concrete, clay and natural stone landscaping products, has fitted Brigade bbs-tek noiseless reversing alarms to its fleet of 44t articulated trucks.

Stewart Potter, group logistics manager explains The bbs-tek alarms have replaced conventional alarms and are more environmentally friendly. Cutting down the noise of truck movements to ensure we are considerate to our neighbours is important to us. The bbs-tek is helping us achieve this.

The system is suitable for all applications, from light through to heavy vehicles and the range

has a decibel rating of 82 to 107dB(A).

It uses a pleasant broadband sound (or white sound), so the sound source can be located instantly, useful in busy locations.
