Wall mounted
June 1st 2009

To provide environmental protection for goods and operatives during unloading, Sainsbury's supermarket has invested in a CopriSystems loading bay canopy at its Andover site.

Side wall mounted against the existing building, the canopy measures 10m long, 6m wide and 5m high. The canopy protects a scissor lift unloading operation, as well as limiting wind, rain and dust during the unloading process.

The side wall mounted canopy is suited to a 'drive through' unloading process as each end of the tunnel effect canopy can be left open. If the ends are shut, an effective airlock can be created when the warehouse doors are opened.
