Presence detector
February 1st 2006

Included on Mitsubishi's latest 48V AC 3 and 4 wheel electric counterbalance truck range is an advanced safety feature - the Integrated Presence System.

This detects whether the driver is correctly seated and, if not, prevents all hydraulic movement. It stops lowering as well as lifting, tilting and truck travel and provides a parking brake alarm and seat belt warning light as safety aids.

The truck's control system also adjusts acceleration, travel speed, lift/lower speed and braking to suit the load, application and driver. Instant pre-set modes can be carried out on board without special tools.

Everything in the operator compartment has been ergonomically designed to keep the driver comfortable through long shifts.

The FBNT and FBN each offer capacities of 1.6, 1.8 and 2t.
