that provides a simple, safe
and effective method of
stairway descent for the
mobility impaired.
One able-bodied person is
able to evacuate a mobilityimpaired
person in an
emergency.
The company offers site
assessment, training courses
and servicing for the chairs,
helping responsible persons
meet their responsibilities
under the DDA and RRO.
The company also supplies
the IBEX Transeat that
ascends or descends stairs
with the minimal effort of
two operators, avoiding the
need to lift and carry the
full weight of the patient.
It works on gravity and
friction using endless
rotating traction belts; rate
of descent is controlled by an
adjustable braking system.
