New means of escape
June 1st 2006

Evac+Chair International's new Mk3 emergency evacuation chair accepts a person of up to 150kg, yet still weighs less than 10kg.

Advancements in the angle of descent mean that the chair functions as well on stair gradients of 40% as it does on those of 28%, making it fully compliant with National Fire Protection Association guidelines.

A cost effective solution, it allows employers to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act which states that they must provide an adequate means of escape for all.
