Ergonomic keyboard July 30th 2009 Twenty years ago Anna Chess was a skilled keyboard user but started to experience the signs and symptoms of RSI - throbbing pains in fingers, forearms, shoulders and neck even at rest. She thought she would never use a keyboard again.
In January this year she purchased a computer and plugged in a Maltron dual-handed keyboard. Despite being “keyboard free” for twenty years, Anna adapted to the Maltron shape within a few weeks by building up from a few sentences to several pages at a time. When switching back to a conventional flat keyboard for a short period she again experienced swollen arms almost immediately. Anna recommends “Anyone with RSI should try one of these keyboards.” More articles from P C D Maltron Ltd: |
