Ergonomic keyboard June 1st 2008 Maltron reports increased
interest in its fully-ergonomic
keyboards with an order for
17 two-handed keyboards
from a company in the USA
and one from Eddy Pronk, a
software developer in
Australia who had the early
signs of RSI and decided to
act before it got any worse.
While investigating
keyboards Pronk looked at
alternative layouts,
eventually opting for the
Maltron letter layout in
which frequently used keys
are positioned for ease of
use instead of being kept
apart as in the qwerty
layout. He now uses a qwerty
keyboard for work and a
Maltron unit at home.
He expects shortly to use
his Maltron layout full-time
at work too. More articles from P C D Maltron Ltd: |
