Means of escape for mobility impaired

With the DDA and RRO 2005 now in place, employers must provide adequate means of escape for all occupants of buildings. The Evac+Chair offers a solution The company attributes the smooth operation of the chair to the interface of specially-modified V-Belts that work continuously to slow descent over stair nosings in proportion to the weight of the passenger.

No lifting is necessary.

The Evac+Chair can assist management in providing adequate means of escape for mobility-impaired persons.

Strategic placing of chairs throughout the building, together with required drills, will help organisations meet their responsibilities under health, safety and equal opportunities.

The chair is easily operated, with one user able to evacuate a colleague after a brief training session.
