Body mapping guidance June 1st 2007 A new guidance document has been published by a leading healthcare trades union about body mapping, a technique originally developed to help casino croupiers identify workrelated injuries.
The Society of Radiographers wants members to report persistent aches and pains and find solutions.
Kim Sunley, health and safety officer, says The radiographic workforce are particularly prone to musculoskeletal injuries because of the type of work they do and the equipment they use. Body mapping was designed to spotlight health problems among workers in the gambling industry who can develop RSI.
