International approach earns recognition
April 1st 2008

As one of the fastest growing international first aid training organisations, Emergency First Response continues to secure international approvals and recognition.

Approved by the Health and Safety Executive (GB) for training in first aid for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, Emergency First Response also offers appointed persons first aid, AED and Manual Handling courses, which may be customised to meet industry sector specific needs.

With over 35,000 instructors based in over 180 countries world-wide, Emergency First Response can call on its pool of instructors to carry out contract work. The Emergency First Response system of training is simple, has world-wide consistency and proven educational validity. All courses are supported by student and instructor materials including manuals, CD ROMs and DVDs.

An integral part of Emergency First Response courses is training in the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). AEDs greatly increase a cardiac arrest patient's chances of a positive outcome and can be used by anyone appropriately trained.

Emergency First Response is exhibiting at the Safety and Health Expo on 13th - 15th May at the Birmingham NEC.
