Preparing to shock
April 1st 2006

Laerdal Medical will be exhibiting a range of HeartStart defibrillators at this year's Safety & Health Expo.

The company, whose portrayal of a sudden cardiac arrest on The Runway at last year's show, enthralled many spectators, will be hoping to 'shock' this year's visitors with a similar runway concept that concludes with a dramatic Heartstart 'save'.

Worldwide sales since 2000 of the defibrillators have exceeded 200 000 and to mark this achievement, Laerdal Medical has donated a defibrillator to four different organisations across the UK, including the RNLI station at Tower Pier, London (pictured above).
